A review of some behavior expectations:
* You should not leave the classroom more that once per week. (library, restroom, drinking fountain, locker, office, etc.) 
* If you borrow something, return it in a condition that is as good or better than you found it.
* Clean up after yourself. 
* If you remove a book from the bookshelf, then check it out immediately.
A review of some class work & homework expectations:
* Always restate the question in your answer and write using complete sentences. 
* Most writing should be in 1st person (I, my) or in third person (they, he/she/it).
Classroom Rules:

2. Raise Your Hand Before Speaking 
3. Respect Your Classmates And Your Teacher
4. Keep Hands, Feet, And Objects To Yourself

Warm Up: 
20 Minutes of independent reading (This is week #26)

Reteaching the skill "Trace and Evaluate an Argument"
Questions to guide learning:
What makes for good argument writing? 
How do the elements of argument make for a strong argument?
Work Time: 
Review "Trace and Evaluate the Argument Quiz" to determine what went wrong? 
Trace and Evaluate the Argument Quiz #2
How students will know they are successful:
Students will be able to identify the elements of an argument in a text.  
Debrief: 
Unit 4 Vocabulary Hall of Fame
Homework:
Independent reading (At least 30 minutes)
Update reading list
Complete and turn in any missing assignments.
