How can I choose books from a variety of genres. I can identify the genre of a book. 
Work Time:
* Read for 20 Minutes
* Reading Conferences
* Update your reading list in Google Classroom!
* Plan for next book. 


Unit 2: Analyze to Understand
 Essential Questions:
Why do writers choose to revise and edit their writing? How does good writing make for easy reading? 
I will know I am successful when:
I am able to work in a small group to provide critical feedback to a peer about a piece of writing. 
Mini-Lesson:
Review of The Four Tribes Agreements


    Work Time:
    1. MAP Reading Data Sheet
    2. Critical Friends peer review of writing using the assignment: "Email to Main Character"
      Debrief: 

      Homework:
      Reading 30 Minutes
      Update your reading list (It's in Google Classroom)

        Late Assignments: If you are turning in a late assignment, you will need to fill out a "Late Assignment Turn In Sheet". 

                           The forms are on the front whiteboard.  The turn in bin is by Mrs. Brownell's desk.
